This Landscape Project in North Vancouver was designed for a client with an upcoming wedding reception in the back yard.  The existing back yard was a grassy slope with poor drainage and many overgrown shrubs.  Our landscape design added 400 sq ft of limestone patio, and the entire patio area and lawn is surrounded by a dry-stack basalt wall.  The lower patio received a natural gas fire bowl, while the upper patio got covered pergola with infrared heater.

In one corner of the patio, we built a basalt gurgler water-feature.  It even has a custom carved dog-bowl-stone  for fresh drinking water.

We retained all the specimen trees and filled the garden with groupings of shade garden perennials like hostas and heuchera.  Ketchler Landscape lighting was used to illuminate the walkways and garden.
